The brownie is a chocolate cake with nuts inside. Once made, it keeps for a long time due to its density and the amount of sugar it contains.

Ingredients for 4 people:
300 g of dark chocolate with 75% cocoa
500 g of butter
420 g of eggs (8 eggs)
650 g of brown sugar
8 g of salt
150 g of flour
60 g of cocoa powder
250 g of nuts

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF)
  2. Melt the chocolate with the butter
  3. Mix the eggs with the sugar and salt, and gradually add this mixture to the chocolate and butter mixture.
  4. Add the flour and cocoa powder
  5. Add the nuts, whole or chopped, as you prefer
  6. Pour the batter into molds, preferably silicone; if using aluminum molds, grease them well with butter and flour
  7. Bake the brownie for 20-25 minutes at 180ºC (350ºF)

RECOMMENDATIONS

Monitor the baking of the brownie according to the oven you are using. You can substitute the nuts with any other nuts: hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios… The brownie can be personalized: with powdered sugar, with melted chocolate… You can also eat it slightly warm and accompany it with a scoop of ice cream.
